Age: 77, looks early twenties/late teens. Mentally is probably somewhere in the early twenties/late teens.
Gender/Sex: Male all the way!
Appearance: He's on the right, though this photo has him much more serious than he usually is (or was). He's typically smiling, he's tall for a Dwarf, and good luck getting his hair under control. He also tends to bounce!
History: Basic history is the same between the films and the book: Kíli joins his brother and uncle on a quest to reclaim Erebor, it goes well enough, Thorin's goldsickness starts a war, Orcs join in, Kíli, his brother, and uncle die. Films however include:
-Kíli is shot by a Morgul arrow when they are leaving Mirkwood by way of the barrels and therefore is in Laketown when Smaug attacks
-He and the Elf Tauriel fall for each other (and then he dies)
-He and Fíli don't die protecting Thorin as they do in the books. Instead, he dies trying to seek revenge on Bolg and Azog for killing Fíli and also saving Tauriel from Bolg.
Personality: Kíli, at his heart, is a friendly and cheerful Dwarf. He's not so racist as some of the older Dwarves and he tries to at least be nice to most people he meets. The quest that eventually killed him, however, has left its mark on him. He isn't so terribly optimistic anymore and, given time, will suffer from severe PTSD that I will attempt to portray as sensitively as possible. He's still Kíli, though, the loyal and cheerful Dwarf who was barely old enough to go on the fateful quest.
Abilities:-Archery
-Keen eyesight
-Damn good swordsman
-Gifted craftsman (despite being a young dwarf, saying he was better than your average human-equivalent craftsman is not that far off since he’s a dwarf)
-Knowledge of both Khuzdul (Dwarvish) and Westron
-Fiddle player (this is from the book, where he and his brother both have fiddles)
-Quick reflexes
-Fairly agile for a dwarf
-Sturdier and stronger than Men
-Knowledge of Dwarvish runes
-General outdoorsman-y skills.
Inventory:
*Sword
*Religious Dwarf text
