Abilities: Before: He favors the Fairy typing a bit right now in looks, having features more delicate than that of most of his family (though that isn’t saying much) and generally looking a bit younger than he actually is. That being said, he is very obviously Rock type—he’s dense as hell and probably actually can’t break a bone. Other than that, however, he’s largely normal looking for now. He also only has two real “abilities” to start off. The first is essentially Stone Edge, where Kili attacks with rocks coming from beneath his opponent. The other is one he doesn’t really like to use and tends to use it accidentally. It’s Baby-Doll Eyes, essentially. For the longest everyone just thought he was good at Lilipup eyes but no, it’s just his typing. Using it doesn’t get him out of trouble, but it either charms people or confuses (in a non-status effect way) them because he doesn’t really look like the sort to be able to do that.
Now: When Kili first evolves (level 30ish) he will begin to look more Rock-like. He’ll gain grey stone shoulder and thigh coverings, not very thick but still hard to pierce. Strange Unown like runes painted with blue ink will cover them, though they don’t offer any actual benefit except looking pretty in the moonlight. They just glow when he attacks. He also is able to hone his love of projectile weapons to attack with a move similar to Power Gem. His “Baby-Doll Eyes” morphs into the same move but with the added bonus of occasionally actually causing the status confusion people, and he gains a move like Rock Blast only much slower (mostly because he doesn’t throw rocks, but instead shoots stone-tipped arrows).
His final evolution at about level 55ish completes his Rock armor transformation. The rock coverings now go down his back, arms, and chest and down to his knees, leaving his calves and forearms free of rock. It is thicker on the shoulders, back, and thighs though it thins as it gets closer to the untransformed skin. The runes have spread from just the rock covered skin to his regular skin as well; the blue “ink” sparkles in the right light and catches the moonlight. As for moves, he gains two; one similar to Moonblast and another similar to Dazzling Gleam. Both moves can be enhanced to a degree if he channels the light through the runes on his skin.

PERSONALITY
Where Kili is a rash, reckless boy, his Carbink is a calm, careful little thing. Belbul realized early on that her Earthkin needed babysitting and so she happily took on the job. She makes sure he doesn't do anything stupid, keeps him from hurting himself if he does do something stupid, and generally watches him pretty closely. She's twice as stubborn as he is, too, so it's hard for him to argue. When his mother learned he was leaving, she took Belbul aside and asked that she make sure Kili came back to her.
Belbul will do her best.
One thing to keep in mind: Belbul may be a genderless rock but she likes being thought of as a girl. Most people default to male, so she had Kili make her a pair of little metal "hair bows" that she wears on her ear flaps.

PERSONALITY
Kuna is a skittish and easily frightened creature, unused to aggression or violence in her idyllic home. Eager to avoid confrontation, she tries her best to keep others happy and to refrain from offense. A doormat at heart, people don't walk all over her more than they ride all over on top of her. Kili at first scared her, what with him being so...Kili about everything but once he figured out she was a shy and scared little thing, he started being gentler with her.

When Kili heard there were Darumaka native to Union, he had to have one. He'd always wanted one growing up and now he could get one.

Magnith is Kili if Kili were a roly-poly Pokémon. He's a silly little thing who is always, always rolling around and trying to make people laugh and otherwise be happy. He hates seeing people sad and frequently tries to juggle! This does not work as he is a ball trying to juggle other balls but it makes people laugh so who cares? Even after evolving, Magnith still prefers to roll around and try to juggle. Silly.
He also likes food about as much as Kili does.

Azaram is rather nervous for someone that's already deceased and seems to have a strong fear of sharp objects. He appears to have seen a balloon pop once upon a time and imagines that the same may happen to his own body at any time. When seeing balloons, he casually attempts to free them from the tyrannical clutches of small children. When scared, he tends to wrap his arms around either Kili's neck or Kuna's antlers.

Kanbith is literally the Pokémon form of Kili. He's reckless, he loves fun, he loves people, and he is always getting into things he really shouldn't. That's how he and Kili met, even--he got into Kili's bag because he wanted food.
Poor Thorin. Kanbith refuses to evolve any further right now. He likes being this size.

Razkhûna (Raz) is the girliest Squirtle to ever Squirtle. Kili and company ran into her while she was stubbornly cleaning the shell of another Squirtle, apparently lecturing him on...something or other. Belbul floated over, they had a conversation, and then Raz was demanding that Kili bond with her. (From what Kili could gather, Belbul had told Raz they were looking for a Squirtle and that they needed more girls around? He's not sure.) But Kili agreed to bond with Raz and that is how he found himself suddenly having to buy bubble bath and shell polish and other girly things he had no idea what to do with. She even refuses to evolve past Wartortle!
So yeah. Girliest Squirtle ever. Living with a bunch of Calderan men. Popcorn, anyone?

Murdel is a bit dull. When he was a Bellsprout, he refused to move on his own but now he has to as he as grown too big for anyone to carry him. He's still a lazy bum though.

PERSONALITY
Bahiri is quiet, observant, and thoughtful, seeing patterns in the most seemingly random of places and deriving deep meaning from them. She watches the falling of the leaves, petals scattering on the wind, the paths of Bug types as they buzz through the air, weaving it all into a grand connected web that only she can truly perceive or understand.
While her explanations of the underlying principles of deriving order from chaos and meaning from meaningless may soar over the heads of many Pokemon and Enlightened, the upshot is that Bahiri is actually very good at providing short term warnings for things Kili might not sense on his own. Maybe there's something to all of this after all, or maybe she is just pulling an amazing con, is incredibly observant, and has a great poker face. It's honestly hard to tell. Not that Kili cares, because this is hilarious.

So Kili, being Kili, went out to an area that Belbul warned him was a bit too dangerous and found this little guy. Omzin was defending a smaller Flying-type from some other Heracrosses and when Kili went to help, he decided he liked this brash human and agreed to bond. He likes to fight, but only his equals or in defense of others. Kili gets the feeling Belbul explained his occasional recklessness because whenever Kili goes out, Omzin is right behind him like a bodyguard.
